About Our Partnership

ONE Church serves as a ministry partner of Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL). Our mission is to cultivate Christ-centered leaders who are equipped with practical experience and rooted in intentional community.

Through this partnership, students enroll in 100% online programs offered by Southeastern University while participating in local ministry practicums at our church. This NC-SARA-compliant model ensures that students receive a high-quality, accredited* educational experience that integrates academic excellence with hands-on leadership development.

* Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, education specialist, and doctorate degrees. Southeastern University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. What You Can Study

Online programs are online degrees offered without on-site instruction.

Costs
Tuition: $8,136.00

Tuition covers the cost of your classes only; books and fees are additional. Tuition is charged per credit hour. Tuition listed is based on 15 credits per semester (for 2 semesters) with the practicum scholarship applied.
Summer tuition is charged the online rate: $399/credit hour + $175 Technology Fee.

Practicum & Local Support Fee: $2,520.00
This fee covers local practicum support, leadership mentoring, and student development costs. It is charged at a flat rate per semester. The annual fee (2 semesters) is listed.
General Student Fee: $600.00
The general student fee is charged at a rate of $300/semester. This fee covers the cost of facilitating classes for all students.

Through our partnership with ONE Church, students can engage in hands-on ministry practicums. These experiences are hosted by the church and provide practical application in the following areas:

Student Experiences

Our ministry partner sites offer a unique environment for students to engage in local practicums and community worship. While all academic instruction is delivered through SEU’s online platform, these sites provide collaborative spaces for study and fellowship, fostering a distinctive setting for leadership development and spiritual growth.

Chapel

All institutional academic services, including advising, tutoring, and financial aid, are provided virtually by Southeastern University’s main campus in Lakeland, FL

Pastoral Mentoring: Local students receive leadership coaching and spiritual mentoring from the ministry partner’s leadership team as part of their practicum experience.

State Authorization & Consumer Disclosures

Southeastern University is a member of NC-SARA (National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements).

  • Southeastern University is an institutional participant in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). This allows SEU to offer distance education programs to students in Washington. These ministry partner locations are designated exclusively for the completion of supervised field experiences (practicums) in accordance with SARA standards. SEU operates in Washington in accordance with state regulations regarding distance education and physical presence standards.
  • Student Complaints: We encourage students to resolve concerns through our internal grievance process. If a complaint is not resolved after exhausting internal options, out-of-state students may appeal to the Florida SARA State Portal Entity. Washington residents also have the right to file a complaint with the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC).
  • Professional Licensure: The programs listed on this page do not lead to state-regulated professional licensure (such as Licensed Mental Health Counselor or State Certified Teacher) in Washington. Students should review our Licensure Disclosure Table to see how these programs align with their specific state’s requirements before enrolling.
