Marketing materials such as brochures, info cards, banners, and videos are a great way to build awareness for your site both at your church and in the community. You have the option of creating pieces yourself, or SEU has the resources to create pieces for you. If you would like your team to design pieces for your site, please refer to the guidelines below.
The following statements must be included on your website in order to be in compliance with SACSCOC & SEU. (For materials such as info request cards, banners, or billboards, please reach out to SEU Marketing for what must be included).
SEU Partnership Statement:
“Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL) partners with {Name of Church/Organization} to host an instructional site on the church campus, and offer students affordable degree programs.”
SEU’s Official Accreditation Statement (not required, but can be included):
“Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Southeastern University.”
If your site has a separate program name (ie. Passion College):
“{Passion College} is a ministry of {Passion Church} that provides {insert mission statement}.” “Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. {Passion College} is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of Southeastern University does not extend to or include {Passion College} or its students. Students must be admitted by Southeastern University and enrolled in university courses to receive the benefits of regional accreditation.”
If your ministry program has a separate application:
“After completing the following application for {Passion College}, you will also need to apply to Southeastern University in order to enroll in the degree programs offered. Apply here.” (link to your site’s SEU partner page).”

What will be reviewed on your print materials?
The above guidelines are set forth by Southeastern University and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and must be upheld in order to maintain good standing with regards to the University’s accreditation. Because Southeastern University values the partnership with each site, and wishes to maintain a healthy partner site network, compliance with these guidelines is required for churches and other host organizations to maintain a partnership with the University. Southeastern University holds the right to require sites to end the distribution of materials, or remove web and social media content that is not in compliance with the above guidelines.
