Academics

Your site has access to undergraduate, dual enrollment, and graduate programs. Academic support includes professional development opportunities, adjunct faculty credentialing, and tailored course offerings to meet the needs of diverse student populations. These ensure that you are able to maintain a strong academic foundation while fostering growth and enriching your communities.

Academic Programs

The initial academic programs offered to extension sites and regional campuses are:

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar is available to all students who need assistance with any transcript/transfer related questions. They can be contacted at registrar@seu.edu.

Academic Advising

Academic advisors are assigned by site. Students will be notified via email when they are given an academic advisor.

Your site’s academic advisor can show you how to:

  • Navigate the SEU Catalog
  • View Next Steps Orientation
  • Use 2 & 4-year degree program plans as a guide for course planning
  • Access your students’ degree audits
  • Teach your students to register for classes
  • Access available university resources
  • Share tips on how to be a successful student

Practicum Resources

The practicum experience is designed to help students integrate ongoing classroom learning with practical, hands-on ministry experience. Our goal is to empower you to customize the experience by setting your own goals, benchmarks, and objectives for the leadership development of your students. You can decide the curriculum you use to guide your students, which ministry practicum tracks to offer, and the weekly activities to include as part of your leadership development process. Linked below are several examples designed to help you as you develop the practicum program at your site.
